Although i haven't dipped my toes in drawing cartoons, but because when i'm working on one of my paintings i think i have an infinite amount of time and also want it to look perfect, your idea of one-dip portraits seems a great strategy for stopping overthinking. I'll try it and let you know.

I love your post. The way you include sketches by other artists is wonderful. I shall buy a one dip pen and try your assignment.
This is a cool activity, Jason, kind of a variation on Picasso's single-line drawings, which I've used as a warm-up exercise in my classes.
